  1. Age 4 · See & Count: Concrete joining and visual combining; totals to 5.
  2. Age 5 · Count & Understand: Fingers, dots, dice, dominoes, frames and lines; totals to 10.
  3. Age 6 · Pictures → Numbers: Bonds, bars, missing parts and simple stories; totals to 20.
  4. Age 7 · Mental Addition: Doubles, near-doubles, make-10 and flexible order; totals to 20.
  5. Age 8 · Larger Numbers: Two-digit place value without regrouping; totals to 100.
  6. Age 9 · Regrouping & Application: Two-digit carrying and introductory 3-digit sums; totals to 1,000.

Actionable worksheet selection

  1. Start with the exact age and select only that age’s stage and number range.
  2. Choose Easy first, then Medium, then Challenging; move on after accurate independent work.
  3. Randomize only the listed variables: numbers, theme, layout, unknown position, distractors and regrouping pattern.
  4. Keep the mathematical structure fixed while rotating decorative themes.
  5. Balance a generated set across representations; do not fill a pack with one repeated equation format.
  6. Reject invalid combinations: totals outside range, accidental regrouping on age-8 no-regroup sheets, or missing values without enough information.
